Designing a postage stamp is a unique creative challenge. Every design must communicate a story, celebrate a subject and remain instantly recognisable within a space little larger than a thumbnail.

Over the past two decades I've contributed artwork, illustration, photography and design to a range of Australia Post stamp issues spanning national events, science, sport, history and popular culture. From commemorative miniature sheets to se-tenant strips, each project required balancing concept, storytelling and meticulous attention to detail while meeting the technical demands of print production at an incredibly small scale.

Although tiny in size, these designs travel across the country and around the world, becoming enduring pieces of Australian design history.
