A handcrafted stop-motion film created for the Australian Marine Conservation Society, celebrating Australia's oceans through the unmistakable voice of Australian music icon John Williamson.

Developed with Innocean Australia and produced through Photoplay / Playtime, the campaign was designed to inspire primary school students to connect with marine conservation by learning and performing an original anthem in classrooms across the country. The animation combines tactile stop-motion, miniature sets and illustrated characters to create a warm, timeless world that captures the wonder of Australia's marine life.

Working from beautiful character designs by Andrea Innocent, I directed and animated the film, translating the illustrations into expressive handcrafted performances while balancing the emotional storytelling with the campaign's educational purpose. The result is a gentle, optimistic piece that encourages the next generation to become advocates for our oceans.
